These post hoops feature some lovely baby blue Campitos turquoise with carved lines that are reminiscent of seashells to me. The hoops themselves measure just over 2" wide and the earring hooks are sterling silver.
I believe these stones are NATURAL, which means they have not been pressure treated/plasticized. As a jewelry wearer, this means they need extra care in order to avoid turquoise discoloration by perfumes, face makeups, soap, body oils, etc.

Turquoise is considered a relatively soft and porous stone, and as with all silver based jewelry, this gem should be taken off when showering, applying lotion, etc. to avoid discoloration of the stone and to keep this piece in beautiful condition for years to come!
