This double ring features a rose cut moonstone and a really nice Hubei turquoise oval, set in the open, floating ring style. I've always loved turquoise from Hubei, and this particular one has a deep forest green color with a bit of brown matrix with a glowy light blue halo.
If you aren't familiar with the term already, 'rose cut' refers to the way in the which the stone is cut, with facets (sides) cut into the stone to better reflect light. I've never played with rose cut stones before, this is my first time, but I totally love the vintage vibe it has. This ring is definitely a favorite from this collection!
Both stones are accented with 3 handmade silver balls on each side. The measures as a size 8, but due to the open ring style, it can be comfortably worn as an 8.5 or 9.
