This ring features a teal green Royston turquoise square crowned with several layers of beaded decorative wire and handmade sterling accent balls. The design came together and I kept thinking it was like some kind of beautiful shield..hence the name.

Turquoise is considered a relatively soft and porous stone, and as with all silver based jewelry, this gem should be taken off when showering, applying lotion, etc. to avoid discoloration of the stone and to keep this piece in beautiful condition for years to come!
