These post hoops feature some spectacular and very unique ammonite fossils inlaid with bright blue turquoise wrapped in a decorative twist wire. I've only been able to find these turquoise inlaid fossils from ONE supplier, and they are very labor intensive so they're hard to come by. The hoops on these earrings measure 2" and the back of each of the stones is stamped with STERLING and my maker's mark on the back. This is a truly unique and eye catching pair of earrings.

Turquoise is considered a relatively soft and porous stone, and as with all silver based jewelry, this gem should be taken off when showering, applying lotion, etc. to avoid discoloration of the stone and to keep this piece in beautiful condition for years to come!
